Summary: This is a report on the Conference on The Curriculum Redefined, held in April 1993 in Paris. The purpose of this report is twofold. Firstly it brings together the principal results of the thoughts and action on curriculum matters in CERI during the last decade. Secondly it is a running commentary on a very broad and diverse range of topics to draw upon the expertise and experience of a large and varied body of specialists from OECD countries. This breadth of interest is presented in one volume to ensure continuity and to give the reader a better flavour of the Conference deliberations. The papers resented to the Conference are retained since they add to the diversity of the debate and provide insights into particular issues and concerns. (Font: Foreword)
