Summary: Strengthening the arts management and cultural administration training sector in Europe; and encouraging exchanges: these are the aims of the Council of Europe's programme for the Training of Cultural Administrators. The programme supports a range of activities including: a Travel Bursary System to promote mobility of trainees and trainers across Europe; the European Diploma in Cultural Project Management; the European Network of Cultural Administration Training Centres; Seminars for central and eastern European cultural administrators; and the publication of a series of Training Handbooks on cultural policies and co-operation in Europe. The Directory will be a useful tool for students as well as a good source of information and contacts for those working in the field of training for arts management and cultural administration.
