The findings presented in this report are based on information provided by 30 orchestras, the Eastern Orchestral Board, Children's Music Workshop and 20 clients of orchestras' education programmes. All information relates to the academic year September 1994 - September 1995. During this period, the responding orchestras took part in at least 960 discrete education projects.
