Report from the research project which cultural policy research network CIRCLE (Cultural Information and Research Centres Liaison in Europe) and the European Festival Research Project consortium (EFRP) carried out in 2007. The report includes outlines and case studies of festival policies in 20 European countries as well as a comparative analysis and aims to make a significant contribution to the process of creating a consistent and rational information base on the subject.
