| Resumen | Through the EU Culture Programme, the European Commission supports four European prizes in the field of culture, namely: European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage - Europa Nostra Awards (lien vers chaque prix); European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture / Mies van der Rohe Awards; European Union Prize for Literature (EUPL); European Union Award for Contemporary Music/The European Border Breakers Awards (EBBAs). The Commission contracted ECORYS to carry out an analysis on these prizes, in particular as regards to their impact from various angles (on the winners, on the sectors in which each prize operates, on the audiences and on the wider European social and economic landscape), as well as regarding their prestige and outreach. In order to have a comprehensive overview, the analysis was conducted at different levels (EU, sectorial, individual and general public) through qualitative and quantitative research, including interviews with key stakeholders.
