520 ## - RESUMEN |
Resumen |
The report compares policies to promote experience economy and creative industries in Denmark, Norway, New Zealand, Singapore, Sweden and the UK. The report finds that there are mainly two models of promoting this. One the one hand, the Nordic countries take education, cultural policy and research as a point of departure, and emphasise a general framework approach. On the other hand, the common wealth countries and Singapore emphasise the business policies and tend to support few sectors instead of creating a general framework. The picture is not clear cut, while the Nordic countries apparently are inspired by i.e. the UK approach. Further, a general lack of precise definitions of the experience economy and the creative industries - the object to be promoted - is a potential source of concern. (Font: Editor) |
